As a CMO, I don’t evaluate AI based on how impressive it sounds in a demo. I evaluate it based on one question: Will this strengthen or weaken our brand?

Because in customer experience, AI doesn’t operate in a lab. It operates in public. In real time. In conversations that shape perception, loyalty, and trust. That’s where the AI divide is emerging, not between companies with access to models and those without, but between companies experimenting with AI and those accountable for it.
